About This Chapter
It's been a while since we've heard from the "black rabbit" , but he's back. He's here to tell us about the fight between the boys and the "invisible girl" . He tells us that he saw how happy the boys seemed to be when he ran into the spot where they'd been arguing about who was "the invisible girl." He tells the boys that he doesn't want them to worry so much about "the black rabbit" because he just wants them to be happy. He also tells them that summer vacation is coming up, and he hopes that they'll be able to go to the "summer fireworks" together. The boys agree to go, but they've got to get home first, so they're going to have to wait until everyone else has gone to the fireworks. Before they leave, the boys apologize to the black rabbit for being so mean to him. He apologizes for not telling him more about the "unknown girl." The boys are so sorry that they can't even hear what he said.
