The next morning, Dr. Bledsoe arrives at the hospital. He tells the doctor that he has a message for him from the Governess. The Governess wants to know what the message is, and the doctor tells her that it is the key to the "leader of hell" . He also says that the key will weaken the leader of the devil. The doctor tells him to think of the key as his ticket out of the place, and that once sealed, the leader will be weakened. He says that he doesn't think they should keep going to the place where everything started, but that they should try to find the "gateway" into the place.
