About This Chapter
In this chapter, we find out that the guy with the headless cavalry is the one who has the proof of the glory. He's the mayor's hired guard. The guards are supposed to be high ranking warriors, and the mayor has hired them to guard his home. The guy says he's sorry, but he can't figure out how to break through the wall of guards. He even forgot that the sentinels were guarding the house. The sentinels are on their way over here, the guy says, and they've got a lot of defensive stats on them. They look like they're not going to be too hard on the guy who's trying to break in. The dude says he heard someone looking for him, so maybe it's better if he came and invited them sooner. The thud sounds like someone's looking for the guy, so he asks the guy why his town is safe and sound. He tells the guy that there's a forest behind the city that's called "the black forest" because of the curse. People are terrified by the forest, and no one dares enter it. The tomb of "the snotty cavalry" is in the black forest, the dude says. He says he knows this is a game, but the atmosphere of the city is so strong that he has to follow him.
