The narrator tells us that he's been having nightmares all the time, and that his health has gotten worse. He's had to stay home because of the nightmares, and now he can't go anywhere. The narrator shows us the pictures he took with Lin at the amusement park, and says that he wishes he could go there too. He wants to be like everyone else, so he can sneak out and play with the other kids instead of hanging out with them. He also wants to go to the haunted house, but he doesn't want to go with the others because they treat him like an outsider. He says that the ghosts there look so real, and he hates the fact that he isn't scared of them. Next time he falls asleep, he'll go in and see what the dream was about. He asks the narrator if he can have some ice cream, and the narrator says he'd rather not eat it, because he've asked his senior to help him with divination before, and his health is getting worse. So, he asks the senior to tell him not to eat ice-cream, because it'll make his health worse. The ice cream is cold, but the narrator likes the cold taste. He tells the narrator to take a picture of the fireworks, which will be happening later that night, so that he can see them without the people around.
