The narrator asks Lin if he still remembers the favor he owed him when he helped him and Kui at the cinema. Lin tells him that he still owes him the favor, but that he will never do it again. Lin asks if he feels that the two of them are "sticking to each other" all the time. Lin says that they are already "dating" and asks if there are any places where they can hang out. The two decide to go to a special amusement park called "Octo" on Saturday. The narrator tells Lin that he bought a "pink octopus keychain" during the winter break. He says that the pink octopus looks exactly like Kui, and he feels the ring ring on his ring finger. Lin is so happy that he decides to try a divination to find out what his future holds.
