About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a flashback to the events of the previous chapter. The narrator explains that the dream was a nightmare, and that the demon hugged him in order to bring him back to life. He explains that he promised the demon that he would not ignore him ever again, and the two of them have decided to divide their classroom into small groups and go to the bathroom together. Unsure of what to do, the narrator asks the teacher if he wants to go eat in the cafeteria. The teacher says that he doesn't eat very much because he has an upset stomach. He tells the narrator that he has some medicine in his room and that he will take it when he goes back to his room. Confused, the teacher asks the narrator if she has a stomachache. The girl says that she has had one recently and that she hasn't eaten very much since. She tells the teacher that she will take some medicine when she returns to her room.
