The next morning, the two men discuss the past two years. They haven't been in contact for two years, and the time difference between the outside world and the inside world has made it impossible for them to see each other for a while. They decide to get back to the business of the game. First, though, they have to explain why they're not seeing each other. Because the game is so different from the real world, they can't really count the time they've been apart. For example, they don't know how long it's been since they last saw each other, so they can only guess at the exact time. They also realize that the doomsday battle isn't the only thing on their minds. It's also about finding the legacy that they traded hot dogs for in the first place.
