About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the abyss palace is the base camp for the monsters. The three saints are here to fight, but they're not ready yet. The demon lord wants to know why the three saints aren't ready to fight right away. He says that they've been planning for this fight for years, and that the battle will settle everything between them. If they start fighting, both of them will suffer casualties, but if they lose, they'll give up their ambitions as monsters and swear their allegiance to the divine xie. This sounds great to the demon lord, but it's actually a bad idea. Before the monsters arrived, the humans and monsters didn't cross paths or live in peace. The only thing that separates them is that they each have ten moves. In a single battle, each of them has a maximum of 10 moves. The side that suffers more losses loses.
