The scene opens with a conversation between Regan and Regan's daughter, erin, in which erin confesses that she loves to eat fish. She tells Regan that she doesn't like the fish, and that she's going to have to find a way to get rid of garrett. Regan tells erin that she can't blame garrett for getting caught driving drunk, since he's a "piece of work" . She also tells her daughter that she shouldn't be blaming erin for anything, since erin's done nothing wrong. She says that she has no time to play dirty tricks with her daughter, since she'll never like her again. Regan says that erin should just divorce her, since they're adults, and they don't need to play games like this.
