About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that Mr. Lorry has already given his approval to his son-in-law's marriage, and that the two are planning to celebrate the occasion with a night out in a hotel. When the taxi arrives, Lorry tells the driver that he will not leave with his father until after they have celebrated. He then tells the taxi driver to text him when he arrives at the hotel, and the driver agrees to do so. The taxi driver then tells Lorry that he has completed his part of the group task and that he is ready to hand over the task to the other students. The group task is done, and Lorry is left alone with his thoughts. He tells his father that he would like to marry a male, but he does not know whether the man will accept him or not. He curses his father for leaving him out of the picture, and curses himself for being killed in the process.
