The next morning, Bi-Wen is surprised to learn that he has been taken away by someone he doesn't know. He says that he's never learned that dreams can lead to the loss of one's memories, and that if they don't break into the dreamlands, they will all die. He also says that every time he was brought to this place, his master would light a "jin incense" . When the incense was burned out, they would return to their real lives, but now they're stuck in a dream.
