The scene opens with the cat, Kitty, looking at her father, who is clearly sick. He looks so ugly that she can't believe he's even there. She's heartbroken that she's not even allowed to keep the cat near her anymore. She tries to send a message to the man, but he doesn't reply. She tells him that she has a message for him, but that he'll have to wait until tomorrow to respond. She asks him if he is feeling down today, and he says that he was feeling down all day long. She even hung up her video call for the whole day. Kitty is shocked that this woman would hang up her call so quickly. She thinks that she would have been exposed if she hadn't.
