He tells his father that he wants to see him, even if he means to push him. He says that it is hard for him to see his father and his mother, and that he does not like the way they treat each other. Kim asks if his father smokes, and his father says no, but he is sorry to say that he still has school and wants to stay in Korea. He also asks if he would like to leave his mother behind, and Kim says that she is fine with it, but that it seems wrong for him not to be with her. He then asks if Kim is fine leaving her, and she says that neither of them have been very good to her. She asks him if he still wants to come home, to which he says yes, and then he leaves.
