The narrator tells us that he doesn't know what's going on between Woojung and Seoung, but he does know that they're not going to be able to be friends anymore. He's also worried about what will happen to their friendship. Woojung, he tells us, was planning on never seeing him again, but now that he knows, he's planning on going back to being friends with Seoung instead. The narrator asks why he'd want to see him now, and he says that he wants to avoid eungi and woojung and get the right idea again. He also tells the narrator that he'll be avoiding him now too, too, and that he won't want to get in the way of woojung's plans to go back to his family. The two of them start to argue, and the narrator tells him that he can't understand why his family is the way they are. He says that at least he tries to be a good person because he loves her, and she tries to do the same for him. He asks why she's telling him this now, but she says that she knows it's not about woojung, but about the situation. She says that if it weren't for her, her family would be just fine. She thanks the narrator for being so nice to her earlier, and asks him if he thinks they can get back to their old ways.
