About This Chapter
It's the day of the king's coronation, and it's only five minutes until the time is up. The narrator tells us that he has a heart condition that makes it difficult for him to breathe, and he's dying. He wishes he had a heart attack when he was young, but he doesn't think he'll live long enough to see the day. The only person who can save him is his sister, who is the most important person in his life. He tells us how important she is to him. Before he met her, he used to live in a tiny, dark room in the hospital. He couldn't even see the sky through his window. One day, he found her talking in a private chat room, and she told him how much she loved him. That's when he decided to use his life to help arisa. He says he'd become a demon if he didn't help her. He asks her if she's looking forward to the coronation. She says she'll be home soon, but that she has something she has to do. She tells him to come near her to the hospital, where he can see Dostoevsky, who's in danger of dying. They've saved him for now, but they're still worried that he might die because he disobeys the king. She won't leave him, he says, because she wouldn't want to do something like that. He's sorry, but refuses to give up.
