At the end of the first lap, the pits are open and everyone is ready to go, except for Kikko, who is still waiting. Kikko asks if he can put up a good time, and Negro says he'll do it. The guys are working hard, but it's not looking good for the rest of the field. Everyone is back in the pits except for maria, who's been out there all day. She's trying to get a feel for the track before the race, and she wants to make sure she's in the best shape for the final race. She says she'll go out there and try to get the feel right before the last race. The other guys are back in their pits, too, but they're not as fast as Kikko's team, so they'll have to wait until the last minute to finish the race.
