About This Chapter
Mi says that he's going to lose the race, but he'd rather lose it than be thrown off it. He's amazed at how close Hirokazu got to the throttle, and he wonders if he could have pulled it a little better. He says he was hanging off the throttle a bit, so maybe he cooled his head. Mi tells us that the objective isn't necessarily to be first, but to be in the lead at the end of the race. He tells us to keep the objective in mind, and not to lose sight of it. Mi says he scraped the cannon parts off the frame to make it look like it's coming from a cannon, but the cannon is just down the side of the frame, so why did you scrape it so clean? Mi asks why he was cleaning the cannon so clean, and the answer is that he was just trying to build the cannon cleanly. Mi then says that the class is very different than the one he rides, and that's why he can't get the same results. He wants to know what the difference is, and Mi tells him to shake Hiroki's hand and give him his best shot.
