The loper-coloring assistant asks the vampire if he's fed him vampire blood. The vampire says no, but he does feel strange and different about himself. He's not thinking about it, he tells the loper, because he doesn't really want to think about the fact that he is no longer a human being. He tells the vampire that he can go get the blood, and the vampire says that's okay, he'll just have to call him back. The assistant asks if the vampire can still be crying, and he says that he might be feeling better now that the annoying guy is out of the way. He says that the vampire might feel better if he could just get rid of the "annoying guy." The assistant says that she wants more blood, so she's going to grab the vampire's blood and drink it. She wants to make the vampire look at her again, but she can't, because the vampire is still looking at her. She says that when the vampire gets stronger, he loses his ability to remember things, and when he drinks too much, he can lose his memory, too. She tells him to rub some of the blood on his skin, and then he can kiss her.
