About This Chapter
This chapter opens with a flashback to the events of the previous chapter, in which Mr. Yeow complains that he has done wrongs to Mr. Manette and that he does not trust him. He asks for some blood to get him out of the hospital, but is told that he is not in a "human state" right now. When he asks why he spit out the lies, Yeow says that he likes him and that there are things he wants to keep him because of this. He tells Yeow that he knows that Yeow is an expert liar and that this is what he is looking for. When Yeow flinches, he tells him that he will not be bothering him anymore. He says that the fact he is doing this now is "shameful and ridiculous" and that it makes him regret it. He then asks if it is because of him, and Yeow replies that it feels weird to him because he doesn't like crying. He opens the door to find Yeow in the room, and asks if he is ordering him to come back and pay him back for the damage he has caused him. When the door is opened, he is shocked to see Yeow's "incredible strength" and asks to be taken to the hospital.
