About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that Soo-Jah-Eun has been calling on Kitty's behalf, and that he has come to find out that Van is very sick. Kitty is worried about what to do with her pet, but she also wants to be sure that she doesn't lose Van. She tells him that Van has gotten sick before, but that it's rare for her to get sick. She also tells him to take Van to the hospital for a proper check-up, because she might have a weakened digestive system compared to other pets. Kitty also tells Soo that she is not living with her grandmother anymore, and she also tells her that her grandma does not like her that much. She says that it would be better if they were out of reach, since they are not going to be friends. She then asks if she can still smell her old scent, which she says she has always done. If after a few or even decades, they break up, she asks if they will give her a chance, too. If they do, she says, the other dogs will not be able to recognize her as an omega.
