It's morning at the shop, and everyone is working extra hours. Jiah asks if he can just go home and get some coffee before he leaves. He's bummed that his feet hurt, but he's also bummed that he can't wear his new shoes because they're so uncomfortable. He tries to smile at the boss, but the boss doesn't seem to like him at all. He tells Jiah to be nice to his boss, and Jiah says that he never said that. He then asks if his boss's manager, Sooran, hasn't been at work yet. She's not there yet, but she's on her way to work, so Jiah tries to talk to her. She won't even answer his questions, so he tells her to tell Sooran to stop calling him. Sooran says that she'll be sending her employee's identification card by mail, so they'll have to work extra hours, which Jiah thinks is a bad idea. He also asks if Jiah would like to meet him at his shop, but Jiah doesn' t want to be late. He asks if there's anything he can do for him.
