In this chapter, we learn that Yeoh-tsun has been single since the beginning of the novel, and that his first love has not worked out with him. We learn that this is because the first love doesn't always work out with the first woman. Yeoh says that she should have remembered about her first love by now, because sometimes it works out. He tells her to go home and prepare for her date, because he'll be leaving soon.
