It's already after midnight, and we're told that it's time to go to work. We're also told that this is the last time we'll see the girl in this chapter. She's so excited to be back at work that she doesn't even notice that she's been up all night. She tells us that she has a long dream about her dog, wolf, and her girlfriend. She says that dreams are like the opposite of reality, and she should just let the girl believe that it was just a dream, but if that's the case, she'll be happy with it. She also says that her dream was about his girlfriend having pigtails and wearing lolita fashion, and that she thinks she looks like a "2d character" . The girl is so excited that she gives the girl a cake to eat, and tells her to have a good night's sleep. She goes on to say that thinking about the dog's girlfriend makes her feel "so weighed down" for some reason, and so she decides to head back to work first. She then tells the girl that she should have a "good rest at home" , and then tells her that the cake is for her, so she can eat it when she feels better. Grandma chimes in that the girl bought too much, but that she didn't realize that she was buying too much. Grandma scolds the girl for not opening the door to see what's going on. She thinks the girl's boss from work is having a date with his boss's new girlfriend, and wonders why she can't open the door.
