About This Chapter
It's been a while since we've heard from the kid, but now he's back on his feet. He's happy to be back in the company of his friends, and he wants to make sure his mom's okay. He wants to check on his mom, but he also wants to be sure that she's not going to be bullied by the other kids at school. He thinks it would be a good idea if they could sneak in and check on her, too, since it's such a small building. He doesn't want his mom to get bullied, so he just wants to see if she'll be okay with him sneaking in. He says he'll support him no matter what he does, but worries that she might get bullied by her friends. He hopes they can sneak in so they can check on their mom. He tells us that his mom has always loved him, and that's why he took the picture of his dad's painting without his permission. It turns out that the painting was taken from his grandfather's collection, which is why it was so important to him to take the picture. He also says that his grandfather dragged him to participate in a painting competition to see who painted their kid the most like him. The prize was the same as the prize for the kid who won the painting competition, and since it was
