About This Chapter
The sheep king tells the wolf that they haven't seen the treasure, and that they've been set up. He's afraid they'll go to the dungeons to find out if they're innocent. He says that he intended to give the treasure to brother da xiang as a "token of love" , but now that the prince is safe, he can't run away. The wolf says he's come to tell you about a lantern festival coming up in the next few days. Since the national treasure was stolen, he has changed his target to the wool velvet in the king's hand. He explains that the thief is known for his "sexy poses" in public, so it's no surprise that he'd target the sheep king. He also says that the sheep cashmere in the wolf's hands is even better than the sheep velvet, since it has a yin and a yang in it. He asks the wolf to hurry and open the treasure so that he can check on its condition, but the wolf says that's not a good idea, since the thief might want to replace the treasure with a fake one. The queen asks the king why he hasn't chased the thief, and the king says that it was his negligence that allowed the incident to happen.
